Need a workaround so Parent Rows stay children rows when sorting
As I understand it, Smart sheet does not have the function to keep parent rows with children on reports like on the filter function.Ā Which baffles me! Is there a work around that anyone can recommend for our situation? We currently have a Ready@Spike Date column. This will indicate when each child row will be completed.ā¦

I've researched this and cant find a solution. How can I set up a CountIf formula for ONLY if Parent Rows are checked in an entire sheet? I can do this for the children rows but cant figure out how to do it only for Parent rows. Also, Can I place this formula on the checkbox column (at the very top for a total) and show aā¦

Design Error for Resources Allocation - Percentage vs hours/days/weeks
Edit - I may have been a bit harsh calling this a design error, I do see cases it would be easier choosing percentages for resource allocationĀ instead of hours/days/weeks - but making the latter an option would be an amazing improvement. Formatting Parent Rows
Is it possible to format a parent row based on the number of children rows under it? If so, could you take it one step further saying like, highlight the parent row green if there are no children rows, yellow if 1 and red if 2. etc Thanks

Maintaining Formulas When Sorting a Sheet

I have a few formulas at the top of a sheet and whenever someone sorts through the sheet, my formulas change based on where it was moved to.
