Add a "Strict" Option to Auto Number Columns
The situation is if a row is copied from one sheet to another, the Auto Number unique row ID coming from the source sheet will keep the same auto number on the target sheet. This results in duplicate Auto Numbers potentially, which causes duplicates in what should a column with unique values.

Use a URL shortener service to shorten a URL in a cell
It would be SO amazing to have the ability to choose a cell in my sheet that contains a URL and have Smartsheet create a shortened URL for me. I currently have to leave Smartsheet, navigate to Hootsuite, plug the URL in, click shorten, copy, navigate back to Smartsheet and copy the shortened URL into a cell. I know itβ¦

Add Pivot Table Functionality without extra subscription fees
Please add Pivot Table functionality to the basic Smartsheet plan. Smartsheet is marketed as a smarter spreadsheet but lacks the basic functionality that comes with Excel and Google Sheets. It's difficult to transition at an enterprise level when essential tools are add-ons with extra fees for use.

Hide/unhide colums by filter
It would be ideal to have the ability to setup multiple views when working with several organizations /departments. We have a sheet that has 5 different organizations that will need to edit a task list and gant chart and would love the ability to have each org only be able to see their column and not all of the columns.

Sheets > Timeline View > Fix scroll bar time-jumping
I opened a support ticket reporting this bug and the agent suggested I open the idea here. Currently there is an issue where if you drag the slider bar at the bottom while in Timeline View, it will "jump" drastically into the past. I've gone as far back as 2001. Note - there are no dates on my sheet before January of thisβ¦

Email address for a sheet
Would love to be able to send an email directly to a sheet without using the Outlook Smartsheet plug in. This would enable an outlook rule to automatically send regular emails, such as a daily .csv report from Salesforce, directly to a sheet that would in turn trigger datashuttle.

Review Cell Limitation on number of contacts a user can add
Currently, only 20 contacts are allowed per cell. Could this be review upwards/allow owners or admins the ability to set the desired limit.

Scale option on form
Forms should be able to have a scale option - like 0 to 10. The Net Promoter Score standards require this. When I do it, it's very ugly. Because we need to have this standard scale format as a question, we have no choice but to look elsewhere for our forms.

Dashboard Print and Saving as PDF: "Fit to View"
I have tried with scaling but still haven't managed to capture all the widgets in the Dashboard.
