Smartsheet Updates Via Excel - Live Data Connector
My understanding is that at this time, there is no way to update data from Excel, and it have it show up in Smartsheet.Β The Smartsheet Live Data Connector provides a read-only experience and is not able to write data into Smartsheet. I would like to propose an idea for Smartsheet to be updated via Excel.

Allow Screenshots to be posted into forms and update requests
It would be great if we could add screenshots when submitting a form or Update request, this would be really useful for things like surveys where a product was bought or for maintenance tickets being raised, etβ¦..

Incorporate Attachments into Document Generation
We use the Document Generator on a number of Sheets to generate a professional looking report from Row Data. Often the Row Data contains attachments; Photos or PDF's that support it. It would be GREAT if you could Map potential Attachments to specific areas of a Generated Document

New Font Options
Currently we only have 4 font options. It would be great to have other font options for example, Aptos, Roboto and others and have the ability to have a default font for the organisation and if possible for the workspace. This then makes the visual of the sheet a bit nicer, for example when writing this post, it has a fontβ¦

Data mapping for documentation
As we've been increasing our implementation across all of our departments, the need for documentation is growing. I think it would be nice to have a utility that would generate either a graphic map, or spreadsheet; that show all cross-sheet references, automations, cross-cell references, etc. This would help in creatingβ¦

Lock a date even if it has predecessors
I love the predecessor functionality, because it does help make things easier when dates need to shift. However, there are certain dates that cannot be shifted sometimes (a key milestone that has to be met, or a meeting with execs that will take place on a certain day). I wish there was a functionality to LOCK those datesβ¦

Get the sheet name to reference it in automation email
Use case: User wants to setup an automation email where the sheet name can be referenced as a parameter in the subject and email text (e.g. {{sheet.name}}). Current issue: It isn't possible to reference the sheet name in automation email.

Contact list referencing the list of users in the system admin screen
"On the fly users" should be able to be turned off. It would be nice in the contact list column type to reference only the list of users in the system admin user screen. By creating users on the fly we don't have a accurate view of all users to add those to automated workflows.

Why doesn't this window expand? It's impossible to see the name and when you've got a lot of similar names it's maddening.

Would like to be able to add images to forms
Iβm in aΒ strategy meeting and it was discussed that maybe we could let employees vote on new community facing employee T-shirt design ideas. We would love to be able to do this on Smartsheet forms, but there is no way to upload images and vote on them. Please consider this as an enhancement request. Thank you!
