I have a report that is set to show rows that have a "Date Published" column where the Date is equal to today or is in the past.  For examples sake 12 rows in total. 4 rows have a past date, 4 rows have today's date, and 4 rows have no date or a date in the future.

When viewing the report directly, the report is correctly showing 8 rows.

I have a dashboard link to this report, but when viewing via the dashboard link only the 4 rows that are in the past are showing.

My user ID and the Site are all set in AEST (Sydney, AUS) Timezone.

If I change the rows that have today's date to yesterday, then they show on the dashboard report link.  However this is not acceptable as we have to maintain the date published accurately.

It appears that that the dashboards is not performing date/timezone calculations correctly.  Any one else finding this, or any advise on how to resolve?

Hi Peter -

I tried to recreate what you described, but, i'm able to see all 8 rows as expected! See images below - I created a sheet, report and dashboard - the link opens to the report displaying all 8 rows.

Can you check the dashboard link is linked to the correct report? Or share more details.

Hi Sean,  thanks for your effort.  Sorry I did realise when looking at your response that I forgot to mention the Dashboard is being globally published as we have many people who need to access this info who are not on Smartsheet.

If I look at the Dashboard as a singed in user then the report displays the 8 rows correctly.  If I go there via the global published link the only the 4 rows show.

In the examples attached  ID 1 & 2 have a date in the past, and items 3 and higher have a date of today.

Thanks for clarifying - As it's just ticked over midnight in the US, I'll check tomorrow, our time and see if there is any change because at the moment I'm still seeing the 8 rows.

Hi Peter,

I'd be happy to take a look!

Can you maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, [email protected])

Have a fantastic weekend!

Hi Guys,  thanks.  you will need to wait for about another 8-12 hours or so until SYD is on a different date than the US based servers where Smartsheet is hosted.  As for the past few hours it is working( I am assuming this is because AUS and US are on the same date right now).

I have shared you both to a workspace with the examples.

if you follow this published link to the main dashboard

then clink on the link to FAQ which is a dashboard with the embedded report you will see what I mean.

If you follow these as a singe din use then its all good, but using the published links not so.

The underlying sheet has 10 rows of data 2 will a past date, 4 with a date of 4th May 2019, 2 with a date of the 8th May2019 and 2 with no date.

appreciate your help :)

cheers, Pete
