NEW! Dashboard center alignment and mailto links!
Hi Community!
We’ve released two new enhancements that should make your dashboard editing life a little easier.
Dashboard center alignment: You can now center align your widgets against the dashboard canvas itself so you know where the exact middle of your dashboard is when positioning a widget.
Mailto links: Any email address added to a newly created rich text widget will be automatically converted into a mailto link. When dashboard viewers click on this link, their default email client will open, allowing them to easily compose and send a message to that email address.
Please note, mailto is not supported on mobile, published dashboards and will be released on the desktop app at a later date. Mailto links will not be applied to existing rich text widget email addresses - you will need to edit and then save your existing rich text widget email addresses for this feature to apply.
These enhancements are available for Trial, Pro, Business and Enterprise plans.
You can also stay informed by subscribing to receive product release updates for curated news of recently released product capabilities and enhancements for your chosen platform. As new releases occur, you will receive a daily email (Monday-Friday) with news of what's released.

That mailto function in the dashboard will be a big time-saver so we don't have to do workarounds, @Ellie Smith!

The mailto is pretty nice, any chance we can get this same functionality on forms too?
-
This is great! Any word as to when we can expect mailto links to work in WorkApps?

Hey @Emily Geslien, @Erica Begin, @abatson, @Lindsey Chantler, and @elaine.wright
Thank you all for reporting that the Mailto functionality is not working on published Dashboards. I can confirm that this has been identified as a bug - while I don't have an ETA on a resolution, we are aware of this and are actively investigating a fix.
Cheers,
Genevieve

@Genevieve P. Thank you for your response! We have a ton of uses for the new mailto: function and look forward to be able to use it in published dashboards.
