2-Way Cell-Linking

I frequently link cells because it is very convenient.  Could it be possible to enhance this, so that one doesn't have to use "Go To Sheet" in order to update the value?  In other words, can we have 2-way linkage, so that if it's updated in either place, then the value has been updated?  I constantly have to go to source sheets to update linked cells, depending on the situation, and it would reduce a lot of navigation time spent using "Go To Sheet" and hunting down the cell to update.

    Unfortunately it creates a "Circular Reference" Error. I can see how this would be useful though.

    This is a great idea..  If i want only one-way linking, i can use a classic cell reference..

    Hi everyone—

    We currently don't have this type of cell-linking functionality available in Smartsheet. When you have a moment, please submit a Product Enhancement Request using the form under Quick links to the right of the Community site to let our Product team know that you'd like to see this feature added to Smartsheet.

    When you submit the request, please specify the behavior that you would expect to see from this type of 2-way cell link. Would you want the latest change to any of the sheets to be reflected? etc.

    In the mean time, you might consider creating a cell link OUT from one of your sheets over to your TWO sheets. That way, you'll only need to change the cell on your one sheet for it to be reflected on both other sheets.
