Add more than one column data to chart (x,y scatter)

Hello,

I am trying to generate a chart from a report that contains three columns. The first is the subject (label), the second the day (time to be plotted on the x axis) and the quantity (to be plotted on the y-axis). Since I am plotting from a report, I don't want to reformat the x data to columns as other posts have suggested. I need smartsheets to understand that the labels repeat at each day and to group them by the day value.

I have taken a look at smartsheets labs for x,y scatter and bubble plots, but have not been able to find information on how to select the columns for x and y. could anyone help with this?

Hello,

At this time, Charts are able group data by columns, but it's not currently possible to group data by value.

When you have a moment, submit a Product Enhancement Request to let our Product team know that you'd like to have this functionality in Smartsheet.
