Alphabetize Filter Options

In one of my sheets, I can create a filter for the field "Project Manager"

In the field(s) Show columns that match...if I click the dropdown arrow to give me the options for selection, I do, in fact, see a scrollable list of project managers - out of order - How can I alphabetize this list?

Interesting - Because most fo the sheet appears to be alphabetized already but gets wonky in spots.

Perhaps knowing the source of the filter options is a good start?

Is it a contact column?

It is a column that lists names of employees. Not sure what you mean by "contact column"

There are different column types and one of those is a contact column. Can you double check?

The current type is "contact list"

I tested, and in my case, it shows them in the same order as the Contact Column List values. To have them in alphabetic order you would have to add them in that order to the value list.

sorry for the dumb question, but can you direct me to where the "list column" or "source" is?

There are no dumb questions!

It's on the right side of the contact list column settings.
