I have set up a workflow with multiple paths

I come to a stop when I get to Decline.

Here is my issue

We set up an invoice approval flow

The 1st step is to have an internal review and the 2nd is to the customer for approval.

When there is a decline on the 1st step the next step is to request an update to revise the invoice(attachment)

I am looking for a trigger to send it back for review. Once the attachment has been updated/resubmitted in the update request.

I don't see a specific time stamp I can create for this, except to have the person making the revision enter a date in a column that will trigger an approval request for review.

Ideas... will be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Hi Debbie,

Can you maybe share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, [email protected])

Have a fantastic weekend!

So if there is a decline I an requesting an update

There they will upload a new attachment and enter a date in a field once that record is updated with a date it will send a new approval request

This all I have as I haven't added the process yet. I am looking for better ideas if there is one.

What is triggering the Approval Request from the start?

One solution would be to have the Approval Request trigger again for the added date, checkbox, drop-down list or similar.

Would that work?

I have a form that will add a row

Once that is completed that is the trigger

So my thought is once the invoice is revised the date entered in the update request will trigger the process again.
