Batch Email Reports

Despite my best efforts I can't get some folks to log in to SmartSheet and access the reports themselves.  They want the PDFs emailed to them.

 

To cut down on the number of emails they get, I'd like to set up a recurring email that contains more than one report.

 

Is this possible?   Thanks.

    If it is a PDF, then they aren't editing it.

    Publish the reports and send them the links.

    If that does not work, send them the link on a recurring basis from your email system.

    Thanks, but maybe I wasn't clear.  They (higher ups) aren't editing anything.  They want one email with all their reports attached to them.   So if Manager A gets five reports he doesn't want five recurring emails.  He wants one email with all five reports attached to it. 

     

    And, no, they're not going to click on five links.

     

    I realize emailed PDFs (infuriatingly) defeat the purpose of cloud-based sharing access entirely, but some folks just aren't ready for that yet.

    There is not a way to include multiple PDFs in a single email. Would it be possible to combine the data from the reports into a single report or are they comprised of completely different data?

    Travis: I know you hear this all the time, but this would be a great feature add.  Batch report emails.  I am sure a lot of upper mgt (read: older) want a single email with their reports attached.

    Or we could just wait a few years. 

    I had a manager once (kind of like three guys walk in a bar) ...

     

    He would send an email to me, then print it out and bring it to my desk.

    I earned lots of karma for smiling and saying "thank you".
