Cardview - Add Contact List too!

Love the new card view functionality, but it would be great if card view could be used for contact lists as well as dropdown lists.  I tested this using a formula in the dropdown list column (=[Contact List]), and it works, but it's not the most ideal solution.

 

Also, how did you setup the sheet/cards to get what appear to be the totals of the amounts in the cards in each lane in the demo video?  Perhaps the sheet that was used in the video demo should be available as a template?

    Hi Gordon-- I've added your vote for this to our enhancement request list. Our developers are currently considering and prioritizing improvements to the Card View functionality, so we really value your input!

     

    Though we don't have the sheet from Robin's demo video available as a template, you should check out the Sales Pipeline example from our Card View gallery. Clicking the link by this example will automatically open the example as a new sheet in your Smartsheet account. You'll notice that we've set up a mini-Dashboard at the top of the sheet and used COUNTIF formulas to sum values across the sheet. Then, when you change the View By column to Sales Stage, you'll notice that the summary cards are distributed appropriately across your lanes. Hope that helps!
