Cell linking report sheet linking

I have created a set of reports (that selects this project) and an overview/summary sheet that has links into the underlying Project Sheet.  We use these set as a template to save an copy to a new workspace or folder for each project.

I am hoping there is a way to make the project/sheet links stay within the workspace/folder, so when we copy these over all the links just look at the sheet with the same name, but within that folder.  So I dont have to go an update 20 reports and about 30 linked cells and formula ranges etc.

each project uses the same sheet/s and reports, so the PM's create a new workspace or folder and then save new form a master folder,  would be great if the links could auto update to the folder they are in.

Anyone have any ideas?

You are on the right track by keeping the collection of sheets in a folder or workspace. The key to achieving your desired result will be to use Save as new create a copy of the folder or workspace that contains the sheets and reports that you want to replicate. When you do that, you have the option to retain cell links and you’ll be able to specify that you want the links to refer to the sheets in the current (newly created) folder or workspace.
