Power Function from Excel

I converted a power function from excel     "=0.8*(POWER((9600/1000),-0.5))" and once imported it comes up as an "unexpected opperator".  Is there another work around?

Mike- there isn’t a POWER function but you can calculate exponents using the ^ character.  Try this formula:

    =0.8 * (9600 / 1000) ^ -0.5

  • Hello Mike,

It seems that you have found a way to do this power function on SmartSheet. However, if you do come across an excel like function that you cannot do on SmartSheet, another way you can access these kinds of functions is through a third party integration platform called Azuqua, for whom I work. Azuqua allows its users to integrate various applications (such as SmartSheet, Gmail, Twitter, Salesforce and many more) and perform a variety of different functions on the data in order to manipulate and/or organize the data in a way that the user would like. You can check out more information about the functions at http://help.azuqua.com/help/article/link/functions. If you would like to try out Azuqua, there is a free 14-day trial that you can use to get accustomed to the software. If you have any questions, there are multiple demos as well as contact information on our website.
