Production/Manufacturing/Importing

Hi we do alot of importing of containers and production/manufcaturing jobs

 

is there a smartsheet that we could use to have all container imports in one place? what would the best template be to use?

 

It would be easy to use one sheet for each but we really want to have it all in one place if possible?

    Hi Toby, providing you can identify the columns that will be needed to accomodate the vairious types of import or manufacturing jobs, you then have the Columns defined for your sheet. Add the data triggers and actions needed to move the work forward and you are there with one "big sheet". Save that as your template, it is unlikely there will be a template exactly like you need and creating your own is that easy. 

    Then you can interrogate and update your master sheet via Reports which will provide the views that different people in your org will want to see. 

    Add in some updates, reminders and what if alerts and you have a full workflow.
