Adding Months and Placing Data in a Month Column

I really need some help placing data throughout this sheet by using formulas. I know what I want but I dont know the formulas.
I want the total monthly payout to be spread out into the monthly columns once the payout dates are entered. Can anyone help me?

As your sheet is not published, we are unable to see the data within the sheet. If possible, please can you share a screenshot(s) of your sheet and I'll try suggest some best practices with regards to formulas.
It sounds like you want to use a SUMIF or SUMIFS formula as seen here: https://help.smartsheet.com/function/sumifs
Furthermore, there are a few date based SUMIF/S formulas that others have worked on that may provide some guidance for what you are trying to achieve:
