IF(OR Statement giving #unparseable, using ; or , ?
Please help. I keep getting #unparseable error for the following formula:
=IF(OR([DLExpiration Date]1 > TODAY(); [MECExpiration Date]1 > TODAY()); "NON COMPLIANT"; "COMPLIANT")
I want the cell in my Status column to display as NON COMPLIANT or COMPLIANT if today's date is greater than the dates in columns DLExpiration Date or MECExpirtion Date.

Hi Lisa,
I've just tested your formula and it worked in my sheet and seems to be built correctly... however I notice you're using semi-colons instead of commas. Function delimiters will differ depending on your language settings.
Try this:
=IF(OR([DLExpiration Date]1 > TODAY(), [MECExpiration Date]1 > TODAY()), "NON COMPLIANT", "COMPLIANT")
If this doesn't work, it would be helpful to see a screen capture of your sheet (but please block out any sensitive data!) I'd like to double check that the column names are exactly as they're typed into your formula.
Thanks!
Genevieve

Hi Lisa,
I see that my response answered your question, which is great! I hope you don't mind but I've adjusted the title of your question to help other users who may have the same question find the answer.
Cheers,
Genevieve
