Bug? Comments in subtasks are stored at the maintask if added by the maintask card view (level 1)

Hi all,

we have tasks at level 1 and subtask at level 2.

The cardview shows only level 1 tasks.

From the level 1 task I can edit the subtask (level 2).

I would like to add a comment to this subtask, but it is stored at the level 1 task.

Although the comments area shows:

1) "Line 1 Subtask" which is wrong and should be Line 2

2) the edit area to enter the comment shows "Line 1 Task" which should be "Line 2 Subtask"

I believe this is a bug, what do you think?

Hi,

I think you are probably right. In my account I can see in the edit window for the card, that row 7 shows 2 different names and the comment would go to the parent element.

I'll also send this to Smartsheet support and hope they fix it soon.
