Using Smartsheet Offline

Can Smartsheets be used offline? We have an area where electronics are not permitted, but we would like to do audits of the area using Smartsheet. We'd like to fill in the information offline, then upload the information when we can move to a permitted area for cell phones.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's a great idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

I can think of a few ways to solve this. Can you tell me more about the process and what kind of information you need to work with?

I have not used the Data Uploader add-on, but from what I understand of it you could use that to input data into an offline Excel sheet and then use the data uploader to pull from Excel to SS.

Hello.

Also for me , I have an individual licence , just to use and know SS before to switch to multi users licence ( business) .

But I'm very suprise to detect that the offline option has been required since 2016 and this point is still open.

Is this option foreseen or not?

This is a must have upgrade/enhancement.

At the moment Smartsheet is offline due to IP blocking that is outside of our control and now we have NO access to Smartsheet via our corporate network.

Creating a VPN for just 100+ users in a business of 3000 is not a realistic option.

We are also offline when we fly domestic or are away from mobile service.

If Smartsheet wants to move to the next level they MUST address this.

Unfortunately, I don't have any information about an offline mode. I guess that if the feature came, it would start with an offline mode for forms, I think.

What is your use-case?

There are a couple of ways to do it.

One way would be to use a 3rd party solution to collect the information and then send it over to Smartsheet.

Would that work/help?
