Is there a way of removing the apostrophe before numbers?
We are using Microsoft forms to collect user's information on a NPS survey and the numbers are coming as text eliminating the possibility of run any mathematical function. Is there a formula that can be put in the column to automatically format the value to a number once the new row is created by the automated process coming from Microsoft office forms?
When the value is entered into the Text/Number type column in SS it looks like this '10
then I had to create another column to convert from text to number using =Value()
is a pain in the rear to have to do it for long survey or any other forms that will collect numbers.
Why SS does not have Number type value as column?

It is going to depend on how the form is being filled out. I have numbers submitted via form rather frequently with no issue.
Are the formulas that un the metrics on these submissions on the same sheet or a separate sheet?

And what kind of formulas are you using? Are you able to provide a few examples of them? Are any of them using direct cell references to the columns such as [Column Name]@row?

Hi, I'm having this problem too. Any number from the Forms NPS question is being entered into my Smartsheet by Power Automate with an apostrophe before it. Has anyone found a solution please?

Hello, I still have this problem, when registering an activity from a native SS form when I put the number of hours it registers them like this '3 with the apostrophe and it does not allow me to make time estimation formulas.
