How to create create an audit workbook for a team of 20

Hi, Smartsheet community,

I am new to smartsheet and have been tasked with a project to conduct an "as-is" process audit. at least 20 functional teams will be involved in this process.

Because the teams have different functions, I'll like to give them the flexibility to duplicate all questions around each activity they carry out. I'll like to:

  • Create a dashboard to monitor the progress of the audit
  • Send a unique link to each team to complete the audit
  • Be able to see the data that has already been entered
  • Create reports
  • Be able to analyse the data later.

    This sounds like a great use-case for Smartsheet!

    Before you can build out the Dashboard you'll want to have source data - this all starts in a Sheet. It sounds like you may want to create a Form on a sheet and send that Form link to different teams (either the same link or a link specific to that team).

    This page has a great list of Onboarding Webinars to help you get started. I would recommend going through each of them in order - Sheets, then Collaboration, then Reporting, and then Dashboards.

    If your plan has access to it, I would also recommend going through the eLearning courses in the Smartsheet University (see here).

    There are also a number of Template Sets in the Solution Center that can show you potential set-ups to get different Dashboard views (example: Project Tracking and Rollup)
