Please move "Refresh" to the toolbar, and give me a keyboard shortcut.

I would really like to see "Refresh" added to the toolbar. I think a lot of other people would too. yes

Synchronizing changes with other collaborators in near-real-time relies on hitting refresh repeatedly. It's hidden behind a drop-down. Getting new users to refresh (or save) consistently as a matter of best practice has it's own challenges without forcing us to train users to look for the button first.

Yes, the save button is already there. It's not useful for giving me confidence that I have synchronized the sheet I'm looking at with other collaborators around the globe.

Hoping this is a simple change.

EDIT: Suggested shortcuts for saving a sheet instead of refreshing the browser, as per Craig's post below.

    Hello Josh,

Thank you so much for your feedback! Please, submit an enhancement request for this functionality here so it can be considered by our development team for future implementations.

Here are some "Save" shortcuts you can use to save in the meantime:

    • To save your sheet's changes on a Mac press Cmd+S
    • To save your sheet's changes on a PC, press Ctrl+S

To Refresh your browser,  use the shortcuts: Cmd+r on Mac and Ctr+r on windows. Please note that you will want to save before refreshing the browser in order to save your changes.

In the meantime, I would recommend enabling auto-save in the sheet if you have not already done that. This will refresh your sheet automatically every 1 minutes (or more depending on the timing you set up) and you will not have to manually save continuously.

To enable autosave: click Home > Personal Settings > Settings > and check the Auto Save after 1 (2, 3 ,or 10) minutes option.

Learn more about how to set up auto-save here: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/796268-adjusting-personal-settings

Refreshing the Sheet (using the dropdown) is not the same as refreshing the browser (Ctrl+R on Windows).

If I am viewing row 2323 in my Sheet and refresh the sheet, I am still viewing row 2323. If I refresh the browser, the view resets to top of the sheet. In addition, any other changes I have made to the environment (in other browser windows) are also refreshed and saved. In some cases, this is not desirable.
