Dear All,

As mentioned I am trying to cell link the Task and the start date. Post to creating the cell link I add a predecessor to the line, however the link to the Start Date disappears? Could someone please help me with this as this is crucial for me to maintain my Master Plan and Deliverable, dependency tracker.

Many thanks in advance.

Best wishes,

Taru

Hi Taru, I have heard of issues with using dependencies and cell-linking / formulas on date ranges. If you are using dependencies, then your start date would be calculated from the item it is dependent on. Not sure if you can do what you are wanting. Perhaps another community member can confirm.

  • Hi Mike,

    Many thanks for your reply.

My issue is that with the dependencies in the row I am unable to cell link the same.

That is the only way i can create a master plan from the sub projects. I am not able to do a report as the senior management wants to see the gnatt chart with the dependencies, hence my dilema..

Let me know if there are any other pointers you can think off.

    Many thanks,

    Taru
