Not able to choose myself from a dropdown menu list

Hi Everyone



Just trying to figure out why I can't choose myself for a dropdown menu list. 



The error reads



"Please enter or select a contact from the dropdown list. A sheet admin has restricted this column to dropdown contacts only". With two options, cancel and edit. 



I am clearly on the dropdown list, but everytime i click my name on the list, the error pops up. 



Any ideas what's going on here?

    Hi Hai,

    Have you asked another Smartsheet user to login and test? Ask them to select you from the list.

    I'd also try turning off the Restrict to list values only option in the column to see if that makes a difference.

    Bottom line is that there should be nothing stopping you from doing what you are attempting if it has been set up correctly.
