Hi All,

I have a sheet that has been populated via forms for the past 12 months. What i would like to do is use a count if formula but only when the date is this year.

my current formula is =COUNTIFS({Pure Gym Issue Type YTD}, "HR / Lateness or leaving early")

This works really well but counts everything on the sheet, can someone please help me tweak this for just this years entries?

I will appreciate any help at all

Thank you

Dave

    Hi Dave,

Try this. (Exchange the [Pure Gym Issue Type YTD]:[Pure Gym Issue Type YTD] to your cross-sheet reference.

=COUNTIFS([Pure Gym Issue Type YTD]:[Pure Gym Issue Type YTD]; "HR / Lateness or leaving early"; Year:Year; YEAR(TODAY()))

The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.

=COUNTIFS([Pure Gym Issue Type YTD]:[Pure Gym Issue Type YTD], "HR / Lateness or leaving early", Year:Year, YEAR(TODAY()))

Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.

    Did it work?

    Have a fantastic week!
