Creating Reminders from Mobile App?

Is there a way for users/collaborators to set reminders to themselves or others through the use of the mobile app?

I'm trying to develop smartsheets to be used by field sales representatives, and the goal would be for them to use the program 100% from their phone or tablet.

I do notice the ability to set reminders, as a follow up, from the computer browser - but not from the app for my iPhone.

Any thoughts?

Tim - our mobile development team is working to allow users to do more and more with the mobile app but there are still some things that need to be done within the desktop application. There isn’t a way to create reminders from the mobile app but as we advance the mobile platform, you will start to see features added which will make you more productive on the go.

  • Thanks Travis.

I will keep my eyes out for any releases in the future.

  • Hello Thomas,

There are outside sources that allow you to receive alerts through Google Alerts. One of those sources is Azuqua, for whom I work. Azuqua is an iPaaS that allows you to connect APIs like SmartSheet with 40 other applications including services like Google Alerts as well as social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. If you or your workers want to receive alerts from SmartSheet, you can go to http://www.azuqua.com/ and create a Flo. You can connect SmartSheet to Google alerts through the use of various functions to get the alerts or reminders you need. It is an easy drag and drop platform that can be explained by the various demo videos and example Flos on our website. There is a 14-day free trial for available on our website for you and your company to use to test out the service.
