Cross Sheet Logic/Data Sync

Hi,

I have a signup sheet that I am trying to get to update from another sheet.

I essentially want to take "Unique Code from cell X on Sheet A and look for it anywhere in Column "Code" on Sheet B. Once it finds it on Sheet B, I want it to return the data contents from another column in the corresponding row to Sheet A.

For example if JFCODE is in Code215 on Sheet A and then shows up in the Code Column on Sheet B in Code25, I want Result25 from Sheet B to show up in Sheet A in Result215

I have played around with a few formulas and searched within the community... but thus far I have failed epically.

Any guidance much appreciated!

Hi Jeff,

There are a few different ways to structure a solution.

I'd recommend using cross-sheet formulas, VLOOKUP or a combination of INDEX/MATCH.

Is it only one columns data that you want to show in the other sheet?

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
