Customer Form Submission Triggers Internal Form Request

We receive bid requests through web form into smartsheet. I would like that form to

1. Automatically create a form request for our estimator to fill out the estimate

2. Can the customer entered data autofill on the new form we fill out internally (items like name and address)?

3. As forms are filled out can a seperate column where we keep status (i.e. Bid Requested, bid submitted, bid accepted, etc) can that status auto update when tasks like submitting forms are completed?

Hi Jerry,

I'd recommend using automated update requests after the form is received.

Would that work?

Is there a way to autofill any lines in the form? For example if we have an automated reminder go to complete the estimate after a customer submits their request, can the estimator open a form with that customers info they entered already filled in and they just fill in the new information?

Yes, either they could see the data already submitted or only add the new information, but the other information would still be in the sheet.
