Customizing Form Confirmation Page and Email

Is it possible to include any of the data submitted through a form in the confirmation message?

An example of this would be the name of the person submitting the information using either a contact or the from the data itself if there is a name field?  

Another example is if someone submits data that is a number, can we use that number in the response?
