Edit Predecessor Form will not appear in the Predecessor column

I am trying to add lag time to a project but when I hover the mouse in any cell in the Predecessors column nothing happens. The Edit Predecessors form does not appear. Please help, I've tried everything.

"To make changes to the relationships between dependents and their predecessors, click edit-predecessors Edit Predecessors (hover the mouse in any cell in the Predecessors column). From the Edit Predecessors form, you can change the relationship type or add lag time."

I don't get anything on a hover, I have to click the cell. For both an Admin or Editor, I get a small pencit in right side of the cell.

Can you change the cell without the dialog box?

You can just type something like

4+2d

-- row 4, FS, lagged by 2 days

or

4, 5-3h

- row 4, FS and row 5, FS, leading by 3 hours.

If you can't edit directly and are either an Admin or an Editor, then you should be able to change it. If the row or column is locked, then as an Editor you'd get a message telling you it was.

Maybe it is because you use an Apple computer.
