Filter columns in a reminder

It would be good to filter columns in a reminder as well as in an update request.
Is there a way to do this?

+1 Not at this time. It is a much-requested feature. One of our sheets sends the entire row from a master spreadsheet with over 40 columns! This makes the email width extend beyond the borders of the page... and messes with Gmail's representation requiring us to scroll WAY to the right to see the data we were looking for. Allowing us to select columns to send in the reminder or notification would be EXCEPTIONAL. Add a vote for me too!

Check out the NEW Advanced Notifications feature, You are able to include an email, and show/filter specific columns in the notification. I saw the update. Don't you think the "reminder" concept is loosing ground?
I mean, what's the difference now beetween "notification" and "reminder"? This can cause a little missunderstanding.

Notifications are change driven.
Reminders are date driven.
Even for date columns, there is a definite nuance there.
Notify me when the date changes vs Remind me when the date is approaching.

Yep. J. Craig is accurate one is based on date columns in your sheet... and sending notifications based on those dates, and the other is based on something changing in your sheet.

Okay. It's true. But having now the possibility of having a notification by a change of column and to adress a notification to a contact given by a value in a cell, with a simple formula I can simulate a reminder. Plus I have the possibility of filtering columns to go with the notification email wich was my first goal...
