I am trying to get an IRR for a group's financial reporting.

I know other software has this as a formula, but I do not see a way to recreate this in SS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not a direct formula in Smartsheet, but I have a Sheet for NPV out to 5 time periods (since Smartsheet's formulas are not iterative).

Alternatively, a link between Smartsheet and Excel is possible that would allow the formula to reside in Excel but the data reside in Smartsheet.

Contact Richard at Smarter Business Processes if you'd like help setting either up.

I'm sure that Craig or one of our other Smartsheet Gurus can help you with this if you can find a little budget to work with?

We have developed some really cool solutions for Financial Reporting so you can have what you need?

Let me know if you would like to discuss? We offer a Free initial Consultation?

We need to know your timezone as I am in the UK although our colleagues are in both North America and the UK.

    Happy to help, thanks Craig.

  • I wish there is a way to do this in SS. The business justification for programs is a balance between NPV PLUS IRR, nor one or the other. Has anyone found this missing link?
