Hi,

I am a 76 year old retired IT Journalist and want to use the free version to prepare gantt charts for our holidays.

QUESTION

Will the free version be sufficient for this fairly simple application?

Regards,

Ampers.

  • Ya, it will be sufficient for what you'd like to use it for. You may run into issues if you want to use some of the more advanced features though.

Andrew - Smartsheet allows users to utilize a free 30 day trial of Smartsheet. After the 30 day trial, any sheet you own will become read only unless you upgrade to a paid plan or transfer the sheet to a paid user. After the trial, you will become a free user. Free users can collaborate on sheets owned by paid users but they cannot own editable sheets or create sheets.

I was curious at to whether a free version might be something in the future? Maybe without resource management.

I could see this being very useful in a home use, however I can't see paying for it for that limited use and I do not know anyone other than the company I work for that has a paid account. I could also see this be a popular app.

    Thank you
