For a product management file, I want drop-downs to be limited based on how a previous column is filled out, as it would be a massive dropdown list otherwise.

For example, if "fruit" is selected in the "food type" column, I want the next "sub-type" column to have a drop down list for apples, bananas, grapes, oranges, etc. But if the "food type" selection is "vegetables" instead, I want to see a list of veggies.

Hi Rachel,

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's a great idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

There is a workaround that could highlight a column with specific drop-down values depending on the previous selection.

Would that work/help?

Have a fantastic week!

That solution wouldn't work for my purposes. I did submit an enhancement request.

Is there a way to add headers to drop-down lists? For example, a fruit header (that isn't selectable) followed by the list of fruits, then a veggie header, followed by veggies, etc.?
