    Hello ,

Thank you for contacting Smartsheet Support.  At this time, Smartsheet does not support this functionality; however, I've let our Product team know about your request. Due to the large number of variables they have to consider when choosing what to develop next, we can't confirm when or if this will be built, but we have let them know.

You can always add more requests under "Submit Product Enhancement Request" under "Quick Links" to the right-hand-side of this page.

I'd love to know if anyone else has found a way to make this work so that I can let our team know.

If you’re interested in developing an integration with Smartsheet, you could do so using the Smartsheet API. The Smartsheet API enables users to programmatically access and manage their organization’s Smartsheet account and data. It is designed to be simple and intuitive, and is based on widely accepted standards and conventions, including REST, JSON, and HTTP success and error codes. Here are some resources for learning more about the Smartsheet API:

    • API Documentation: http://www.smartsheet.com/developers/api-documentation

    • Getting Started: https://smartsheet-platform.github.io/api-docs/#getting-started

    • SDKs: https://smartsheet-platform.github.io/api-docs/#sdks-and-sample-code

    • Developer Portal: https://developers.smartsheet.com/

    • Sample Apps: https://github.com/smartsheet-samples

Assuming that Orchestrated Beer is capable of being integrated (i.e. has an API of its own), you should be able to develop an integration using a combination of the Smartsheet API and the Orchestrated Beer API to exchange data between the two systems. With regard to the Smartsheet side of the equation, I’d suggest that you start by reviewing the resources that I’ve linked to above, and please feel free to reach out again if you have specific questions about the API after reviewing the documentation.

Finally, if you do not have the developer resources to build the integration that you’re looking to build, then we do have an in-house Professional Services team here at Smartsheet who may be able to help you accomplish your goals (as a paid consulting engagement).  If so, please feel free to put in a ticket here so we can direct you to that team: https://help.smartsheet.com/contact?

    Kind Regards,

    Alison
