Is it possible for summary bars on Gantt to be subject to conditional formatting?

Okay - My conditional formating on this sheet is set to change the color accross the entire row and bar.  If  status is checked, the gantt bar goes to grey, if not checked, it stays green.  The summary bars are not changing.  Is this possible?

Thanks

Jef

Hi Jef, it is possible to change child row Gantt bars with conditional formatting but not parent row Gantt bars.

You can use conditional formatting to change the background color of parent rows in the Gantt and grid. To do this, when setting up your rule, select "entire row" for the scope and select a background color to apply.

It would be very helpful to be able to change the color of milestones and especially summary tasks because Summary tasks and milestones are the tasks that are most commonly used in reports to show progress and status.

Here is an example:  I would like to change the colors of the Gantt bars in my Report, but Smartsheet doesn't let you set the bar color within a report, only the underlying sheet/project.  But, if the task from the underlying sheet/project is a summary task, then I can't change the color there either.  See the problem this presents???
