Line links between different sheet

Hi everybody,

wouldn´t it be nice to link not only cells but complete lines between different sheets.

Off course it is a question of matching collum names. But a simple possibility would be to match the cells by column name. Not matching columns, cells with system values or cells with formulars could be ignored.

A little bit like "move corresponding to" (COBOL in the last millenium Cool).

Kind regards

Michael

As far as I am aware this sort of conditional logic is not possible in Smartsheet without interacting with such as Appsheet, then you can pretty much have what you want?

The good news is it is not expensive to set up, nor pay monthly to maintain.

We are Appsheet and Smartsheet consulting partners if you need help with this, that's what we do!

There is a short video explaining this if that helps on our website here...

    Regards

  • Hi Michael-- I've added your vote for this to our enhancement request list! In the meantime, you might want to look into AppSheet, as Richard suggested, or a service called Zapier, which can also be used to keep data in sync across sheets. Thanks for your input!

    Thanks Kennedy,

We are finding a lot of interest in expanding the capabilities of Smartsheet workflows by integrating elements of those workflows with other apps. This is the year of App integration and the potential is ever expanding in resolving real world automation challenges.

We love Appsheet, Zapier and Azuqua for their integration abilities, but always welcome new ideas from the community that can be utilised for our clients?

Suiggestions very welcome from those with good experiences?

    Regards

    Richard
