Live Data Connector and Spotfire

Has anyone had success with using the Live Data Connector with Spotfire webplayer?  I have been able to use it fine with the desktop client, but it doesn't seem to work well with the Web Player.

I am adding to this.  Access to smartsheets via teh desktop version has been fine.  However, I am asked for log in credential to access the data source when I try an open the viz via Spotfire webplayer.  I have emailed support @smartsheet.com already.  Any advise?

  • I have the same problem.  Any update on why it can't connect via the Webplayer?

Working on this issue directly it was determined that the issue was with how the System DSN was named. The Spotfire Server must have a System DSN that matches (must be the same name) the DSN used to publish the Webplayer visualization.

If you are having further trouble with this issue I suggest reaching out to us directly in Support by opening a case here:
