I am trying to extract the month and year out of a date column and join them to create a unique key. For example

the value in the date column is 8/18/2017

I need a formula to return 82017

I can extract the month and the year without a problem, but when I try to combine them I get the sum of 8 and 2017.

I figured it out:

=LEFT([Start Date]7, 2) + MID([Start Date]7, 7, 2)

Template with Dynamic view and Control Center
One of our templates relies on dyanmic view. Will the settings for Dynamic View stay in place when new project is created? All projects are created using Control Center. I've already searched in the Community, looked a articles, and learning.
