multiple signatures of unknown individuals on one document

I am creating a training tracking Smartsheet for our field employees.  My challenge is coming up with a way to add signature lines (and text box) for all employees on-site for training to verify with signature that they have attended.  I don't know beforehand who will be on-site for the training and the employees are union carpenters, masons, laborers and ironworkers that rotate out and may only be on-site for day.  Due to their revolving nature they don't have company email addresses.  Any direction you may be able to send my way would be appreciated.

  • Hi Leah-- We don't currently offer the ability to record signatures directly within Smartsheet. You might be able to come up with a workaround using our DocuSign integration, but I'm not very familiar with this, so I'm not sure if this would be applicable for your workflow. Another option would be to collect signatures via another service and import the PDF or other file into Smartsheet as an attachment.

Thanks, Kennedy.  I have been using the DocuSign integration through Smartsheet Labs for individual signatures.  That is working great!  Now my need is for multiple signatures of unknown participants on one document.

  • Hi Leah-- Thanks for clarifying that for me! I just reached out to our Customer Success Team, who might be able to provide more support on a solution for this. They have your email address and someone will reach out to you shortly to learn more about your workflow and do some brainstorming. Let me know if you don't hear from someone and I'll be happy to follow up on your behalf :)
