Hi,

I'm excited to start using Smartsheet to manage all of our workstreams and related tasks and issues.  I was wondering if there is a way to automate the setting of one field based on another, so a row update?  E.g. I mark a task Complete and it moves it to the (card) list Completed?

What I'm finding in automate workflow is of the type alerts and emails, and not value updates.

Yes, you can do it with formulas.
