OneDrive attachments don't take - wheel spins and then nothing

Recently my OneDrive attachments have not worked.  The wheel spins after I select to attach the file but the attachment screen is blank afterwards.  They worked in the past.  I've tried loging in and out of my OneDrive to no avail.  Any ideas?

  • Hi Jason,

We've just started receiving reports of this as well. Can you confirm that you're using OneDrive for Business or OneDrive (consumer)?  This issue has been escelated to our product/engineering team to investigate with Microsoft.

I have the same problem with OneDrive for Business Premium.   I tried many different file types as well.  My account opens successfully, but after checking a file and clicking "Open", nothing is attached.

  • I'm using OneDrive for Business.  This is a major issue as it totally slows me down. Can I get a refund until you the functionality restored?

Hi Jason-- Our team is actively working with Microsoft to get this resolved, however we don't have an ETA on a fix at this time. I'm not able to provide refunds on this forum, but you can email our Finance team at Finance@Smartsheet.com with information about how this issue has impacted your work and request a refund. I cannot guarantee that they will provide one, but they will be able to provide additional information on our refund policy and provide a refund if appropriate in this situation.

  • I have been struggling with this as well. It is starting to impact our ability to collaborate with clients and even our executive's have been frustrated because using links is too confusing and time-consuming.

  • Hi is there a plan to add this functionality back in or do you no longer support OneDrive? its be great to know before I make a greater investment in Smartsheet what your plans are.

  • We have been working with Microsoft to troubleshoot and resolve this problem. Microsoft have pointed us to an update from their side and our engineering team is integrating it and testing it now. Once our tests are complete and we can confirm the fix we'll be able to provide a more definitive timeframe. I'm hoping to see the fix either in the September or October release.

Sorry for the trouble, but please do keep sending your feedback. We're listening and taking action based on it!

  • I am pleased to confirm that Microsoft helped us identify and implement a fix for the OneDrive integration. This work is complete and will be in our next release scheduled for September 13th.

  • Hi Scott,

Can you confirm that the the fix was implemented yesterday? We are still seeing the OneDrive issue with the wheel spining and then nothing.

    Thanks,

    Nancy

  • I am also still having this problem. It appears nothing has changed.

  • Hi Nancy and Max-- We have had to delay the scheduled release for technical reasons, but this fix is still scheduled to be released with the next product update. You may have noticed that we tend to be pretty vague about release dates, only because delays can happen and it can cause confusion (like right now!) I expect that it will be out in the next week or two. I apologize for any inconvenience!

    Hi,

Will you post a note here as to when it has been releases?

    Thanks,
