Parents on Reports

Is there any way to NOT have the parent line on the reports? Because it doesn't follow the hierarchy like on the gantt view, it makes the calendar view of the report very confusing.

I know when your going to print something it gives the option to include the parent or not.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks,

    Heidi,

To work-around reporting issues like this, I typically add a checkbox column on the offending sheet [Exclude_from_Report] and then change the Report Builder to know about them and exclude the checked ones.

This works for parents, summaries, headers, and other info only rows that are on the sheets.

One pain is that the column must exist (even if not used) on every sheet that you are trying to pull from. I just build it into my templates and Bob's your uncle.

    Craig
