Good afternoon,

I had the following questions.

1) Is there a way to set up a session with Smartsheet to have some particular questions answered that were specific to a project?

2) If you have an admin right, can you allow other users (non-admins but they have editor access) to access the smartsheet?

3)What is the purpose of the import and export features on smartsheet?

4) Is there is a way to avoid re-editing the same row in Smartsheet?

    Hello Amrit,

I will answer your questions inline:

    1) Is there a way to set up a session with Smartsheet to have some particular questions answered that were specific to a project?

Sure - we offer one to one 30 minute consulting. Please click this link and use the code "MK-GE" to schedule a complimentary half hour coaching session with a Smartsheet expert. These sessions are perfect for:

    Sheet layout & design

    Workflow configuration

    Automation & notification

    Migrating your work to Smartsheet

    Folder & Workspace organization

Smartsheet best practices, tips, & tricks

    2) If you have an admin right, can you allow other users (non-admins but they have editor access) to access the smartsheet?

Yes, click the Sharing tab at the bottom of the sheet to share it with others.

3)What is the purpose of the import and export features on smartsheet?

Many times, users already have a Excel sheet or MS Project they are working on. Smartsheet allows you to import that work easily so that you don't have to start from scratch. Exporting allows users to do more complex functions in Excel (such as pivoting or lookups) that Smartsheet does not yet support. Additionally, some users export their sheets to PDF if they need handouts during a meeting.

    4) Is there is a way to avoid re-editing the same row in Smartsheet?

Locking a row would disable an editor from making changes to the row. Reports are also a great way to have co-workers update specific data points without needing to view the entire sheet.

    I hope this helps!

    Kara
