Quickest way to create a new sheet from a template?

I can't remember exactly how I used to do it but I'm sure the old style smartsheet was easier than trying to do it now. We hadn't been using it long before the change. The process I'm currently using feels extremely cumbersome.

Please tell me what you've found to be the quickest/easiest way to create a new sheet from a template in the new user-unfriendly format.

I have the template saved to the favourites section of the hamburger menu but I can't right-click on it to "use" it like I feel like I should be able to. I have to click on the template, then select the "use template" option. Is there an easier way?

Hi Heather,

To click on the Template and Use Template is probably the easiest way to do it.

How would you want it to work?

I created a template with additional headings in the first 5 rows, how could I import a project plan without overwriting the rows with needed information to transpose to a dashboard?
