SmartSheet connectivity via ODBC

G'day

We are looking at the possibility to migrate our project meeting minutes from Excel to SmartSheet.

The Excel-based minutes have columns that pull data from different sources, being Sage and Dovico via ODBC (extracted data is in another tab within the Excel file), is the same possible in SmartSheet? If so, would anyone be kind enough to point to how this is done?

Thanks guys.

    Hi

There are two choices assuming you are unhappy with Copy and Paste!,  which might sound free until you evaluate the consequences of a miss paste!

1#. Smartsheet themselves offer a Data Uploader App details of which are here... https://www.smartsheet.com/datauploader

The cost I believe is @ $10k per annum but you should talk direct to their support team for details.

2#. Our Development team at Smarter Business Processes ( SS partner/ Consultants) have developed a number of API Connectors and automations. One of these is an Excel/CSV connector that maps chosen cells in Excel to chosen cells in your Smartsheet workflows and updates automatically.

This solution has been very well received by many of our clients who use both Excel and Smartsheet and need to keep both in Sync.

If interested there will be a set up fee to show you how to do the mapping, then we just charge a monthly SaaS License fee for support and maintenance @ $50  per month.

    More info here ... https://www.smarterbusinessprocesses.com/smarter-apps/

We offer a free initial consultation if interested.
