Subtasks in Card View to show on Grid View

Hello,

I created subtasks on my card view and for a while, they showed in my grid view.  Now they don't, tho I can see from the row counts that they are there.  There is a plus/minus sign on the rows, but it just toggles back and forth without showing the lines.
