Is there a way to copy a sheet's conditional formatting rules to use on another sheet?

I would like all of my sheets to have consistent formatting,

I believe the best way to do this is to have your own template created with the applicable conditional formatting. When you start a new sheet, use that template.

The templates are especially useful because when creating a new sheet you don't have to remember the order of your columns. When moving/copying cells to other sheets, if they are not in the same order, it causes issues.

Sue, to add to Lainies comments.

Templates are great, however if you then change your sheet you need to create a new template.  I use RMB - Save as New, in Advanced options de select what you do not want it  to keep, Or keep all and delete the data out of the new sheet.
