I have a due date column that was manually put in shown below. Next to it is how often the task needs to be done. Is there any way to set up an automatic formula that will create a new due date after the current one has passed, or will I always have to go in and manually change the due date for each task after the one has been taken care of and that date has passed.

Have you explored using the new Automation / Recurring Workflow feature?

The due date can probably be automated with a Multi IF formula.
