Good afternoon

We have a bid invite sheet that we fill out with prospective jobs (each row is a prospective job) to bid on. It has multiple columns of Data that if we decide to bid on the job would need to be transferred to our sales/estimating sheet.

If we had a YES/No drop down column and we choose YES is there a way to have that row transferred to the new sheet?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, almost certainly but it depends on the specifics. There are a few ways to set it up. Cell linking, cross sheet formulas and more.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? That would make it easier to help. (share too, [email protected])

Hope that helps!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Hi,

We have something similar just a little less automated, we have several columns as checkboxes, these are all linked to conditional formatting- highlighting the full row, different colours relate to different outcomes.

We then right click the row number and select "Move to another sheet" subject to our chosen outcome, for example we have Project complete (which moves to an archive), Snagging (which moves to a defects sheet), In Production (Moves onto the Production schedule) etc

This could be a simple option for you?

We have a solution that does exactly this.  It is an API based solution and is fully automated. It uses a simple criteria of a column value to trigger the move.  Let me know if you want to know more

thank you
