Vertical Layout for Alerts

Is there a way for us to control/customize the format of the alerts we receive between vertical or horizontal?

We prefer the vertical formatting over the horizontal as it is easier to read and the formatting carries when we have to forward the email. I have several sheets where when I first set-up the alerts, they came in the vertical format but in the last week have started receiving alerts in the horizontal format which is confusing.

I don't understand what caused the formatting to change in the first place since it was working in vertical formats in the beginning and I cannot figure out how to change it back.

Hi Glenda,

If I remember correctly, it's affected by how many rows the alerts are for. If it's for over one, it will automatically be horizontal.

I'm still getting individual alerts for each row though (which we actually prefer). Is there a way to change this setting?

Hello—

There currently isn't a way to control or customize the layout of automated alerts (they'll appear as horizontal).

When you have a moment, please submit a Product Enhancement Request (using the form under Quick links on the right of the community site) to let our Product team know that you'd like to see this feature added to the automated alerts functionality.

When it's only one row that's affected by the Alert, it's vertical for me.
